‘We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express’ Romans 8:26b

As a Christian community, we are reliant on prayer. It forms the backbone to our College. The College pioneers faithfully gathered in prayerful dependence, recognising God as the creator, sustainer and provider of all things. To this day, we continue to take this same posture of prayer. As a College, we boldly pray to the Father, through the work of the Son, in the power of the Spirit. In community, we are excited and encouraged by what God has done, is doing and will do in the future of the College.

Among many other passages, the following scriptures encourage and embolden our College community to earnestly seek God in prayer:
– Matthew 6:5-15
– Galatians 4:6-7
– Romans 8:15-17
– Romans 8:26

A faithful group of parents and staff meet twice a week to ‘bookend’ the College in prayer. Monday morning, before the start of school, and Friday afternoon, as the week comes to a close.
