The following activities and services are offered by external providers which may be beneficial to your family. These services focus on strengthening student’s wellbeing or academic capacity. While these are not explicitly from a Christian worldview, they do provide insights based on human wisdom and evidence based research. However, personal discretion will be required in whether these services align with your own beliefs. These are NOT fully endorsed by the College but are made available for families to make their own judgement and decision. 

Brave Parenting Conversations Webinar

HopeUC are holding a “Brave Parenting Conversation’s” webinar with Dave & Katie Kobler on Tuesday, 9th August. BCC parents who would like some more information on how to navigate brave parenting conversations with wisdom and courage are invited to attend.

The Krobler’s have a powerful ministry with teens & parents, talking about online safely, respectful relationships etc. they’ve spoken to over 250,000 young people over the last decade & are really at the coal face of what it means to be a teenager in this cultural moment. We want to help empower our families to be proactive in promoting healthy conversations around relationships.

How to Help Your Child’s Essay Writing Webinar

Elevate Education will be holding a webinar on Wednesday, 10th August at 6:30-7.30pm focusing exclusively on Essay Writing, and how parents can help their children become better essay writers at home. 

Parents will learn: The importance of goal-setting in essay writing; How you can provide real-time support & feedback to speed up the process of improvement; How students can begin to self-assess their work so they can become independent writers.
