Mental Health Education Sessions
NSW Health recently funded headspace to deliver parent and caregiver mental health education sessions.
The purpose of these sessions is to provide mental health information to parents, carers and community members of young people in the region, to enhance their skills and confidence to engage their young person in a conversation about mental health and wellbeing.
These sessions will also offer parents and caregivers the opportunity to increase their awareness of local, state and national support services available and to hear from services about how to access this support.
