Oakvale Farm
On Thursday, 13th June, Kindergarten went on an adventure to Oakvale Wildlife Park. It was a day filled with lots of learning about farms. Our students had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of animals, including finding out what animals eat, where they live, if they produce food or products and how to behave around them safely. Kindergarten enjoyed their tractor ride tour around the farm learning about Australian animals, farm animals as well as additional animals not regularly found on farms in Australia. They had keeper talks about koalas and reptiles, where the python was a definite favourite of the students! By the end of the day many animals, particularly the baby goats, had been very well-fed and just like our Kinders, were ready for an afternoon nap.
