This newly created position provides a quality College nursing service in relation to primary health care, health education and ongoing medical treatment and referrals, in a physical and emotionally nurturing environment. Working closely with the Wellbeing Team, the role cares for the physical, psychological, and emotional health and wellbeing of each student and provides primary health care to the entire College community, within the framework of the College’s vision and mission.
The successful applicant should have:
● Knowledge of and a deep commitment to child safety in an education setting.
● Current Working with Children Check
● AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
● The skills and experience to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
● Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Database)or willingness to obtain
● First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
● Current Driver’s License
● Demonstrated skills and experience in the following attributes:
○ Working with people
○ Adapting and responding to change
○ Accuracy and detail oriented
● An expectation of being part of a God honouring collaborative staff team.
All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.

The role works full time (38 hours) during term time (40 weeks) and has 4 weeks paid annual leave during non-term time.
