Why a festival?

End of Year Festival, Artboard 2

Our College Festival is now in its third year, a tradition born from the vision of celebrating learning, community, and the joy of shared achievements at Belmont Christian College. The BCC Festival is all about bringing together our students, families, and staff for a memorable end-of-year celebration. We want to make our Student Awards Assemblies more accessible and engaging, whilst honouring the hard work of our close-knit community. There’s no better way to wrap up the year than gathering together, throwing down a picnic rug, having some fun, and celebrating all God has done in and through BCC.

Donate to Belmont Community Care

Belmont Christian College is excited to support Belmont Community Care at this year’s Festival. Belmont Community Care, a ministry of Belmont Baptist Church, works to meet the immediate needs of our local community, offering practical assistance and fostering a strong sense of belonging and care for all. Their mission is to extend the love of Christ through dedicated outreach and hands-on support.

Among their initiatives are sit-down meals every Monday, Coffee Plus for social connection, and support for women’s refuges, drug rehab centers, and Aboriginal communities. Belmont Community Care’s compassionate programs, including food, clothing, and essential aid, ensure that vulnerable individuals and families receive both the essentials they need and the encouragement of a caring community. By supporting their work, Belmont Christian College hopes to amplify their impact, standing together to serve our wider community with grace and love.

Christmas Carols

This year we will be capping off our main stage performances with Christmas Carols by the Staff and Alumni Band. Some of us know these songs by heart but for those with a passing familiarity here are the words to join in and sing along!

Hark The Herald Angels Sing

VERSE 1
Hark the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled
Joyful all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic host proclaim
Christ is born in Bethlehem
CHORUS
Hark the angels sing
Hark the angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
VERSE 2
Christ by highest heaven adored
Christ the everlasting Lord
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a virgin’s womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus our Emmanuel
CHORUS
Hark the angels sing
Hark the angels sing
Glory to the newborn King
VERSE 3
Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace
Hail the Son of righteousness
Light and life to all He brings
Risen with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
CHORUS x 4
Hark the angels sing
Glory to the newborn King

Angels We Have Heard On High

VERSE 1
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
CHORUS
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
VERSE 2
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
CHORUS
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
VERSE 3
Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing,
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
CHORUS
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Angels we have heard
Angels we have heard on High
CHORUS
Gloria, in excelsis Deo
Gloria, in excelsis Deo

Joy To The World

VERSE 1
Joy to the world the Lord is come
Let Earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and Heaven
And nature sing
VERSE 2
Joy to the world the Savior reigns
Let all their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy

CHORUS 1
Joy, unspeakable joy
An overflowing well
No tongue can tell
CHORUS 2
Joy, unspeakable joy

Never lets me go

He rules the world
With truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
