Dear Parents and Caregivers
The Premier has announced this morning, 26 August that our lockdown will be extended through to 10 September. Routines and expectations, particularly with regard to visitors on site and the wearing of masks, all remain the same. The Public Health endorsed advice for schools is that parents and caregivers, unless they are authorised workers, must keep children at home.
Whilst we recognise that this will be disruptive and inconvenient for all families, it is important that we don’t tire of following the NSW Health advice.
If your child exhibits any symptoms they must get tested immediately. NSW Health requests anyone who has been unwell or develops any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the COVID-19 testing clinics.
The College continues to work with health advice and will continue to communicate with parents as information comes to hand. As usual all Government updates and major College communication will be posted on our website at the following location: https://bcc.nsw.edu.au/covid-1…
Further information about COVID-19 is available on the NSW Government website.
Thank you again for your patience, understanding and prayers as we work together to protect our community during the current pandemic.
“But we will trust in the name of the LORD our God.” Psalm 20:7
Regards,
