Food Technology Kitchen (TAS) Aide

We are now seeking applications from anyone who is passionate about assisting Kingdom Education
and working in a productive team environment with students.

The successful applicant should:

● Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their local church
● Be willing to complete a Food Handlers Basic Training Course (2 hour course)
● Have basic computer skills including email and online shopping
● Have the ability to learn how to operate a range of kitchen equipment
● Have a current Driver’s License
● Have a current Working with Children Check
● Have demonstrated skills in:

  • Planning and organising
  • Basic calculations including measurement, quantities, weights, volumes etc relating to food technology
  • Working with people
  • Time management
  • Following instructions and procedures

● Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning
● Contribute to the life of the College community
● Expect to be part of a God-honouring collaborative staff team

The Food Technology TAS Aide may also have to work with individual students with special attributes
in a classroom setting to assist their learning and ensure an inclusive education. The Aide would need
to demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated and energetic as the role can be quite physical.

This is an exciting and challenging position for someone who is passionate about Christian
education, adopts a relational approach to their work demonstrating a willingness to partner with
teachers, students and parents.

Full Time

IT Services Officer

Applications close: December 15, 2023

Commences Term 1, 2024

This newly created position provides IT service desk support to staff, students and parents in the College community. The successful applicant should have:

  •  Minimum diploma qualification in IT/Networking or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
  •  Current industry certification from vendors such as Microsoft, CISCO, ITIL or a willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Windows, Office 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    o Working with people
    o Deciding and initiating action
    o Planning and organising
    o Communicating information
    o Deliver results and meeting customer expectations.
  • A current Working With Children Check.
  • An expectation of being part of a God honouring collaborative staff team.

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies. This is an exciting new position in a supportive team environment for someone who is relatable, caring, well-organised and professional.

The role works full time (38 hours) during term time (40 weeks) and has 4 weeks paid annual leave during non-term time.

Primary School Music Teacher

This position is an opportunity for an experienced, innovative Christian educator who is passionate about Kingdom Education and desires to work within a productive team environment. The applicant should be ready to commence in Term 1, 2024.

The successful applicant should:

● Have the ability to generate a positive, enthusiastic and engaged learning culture that strengthens students’ wellbeing and develops students’ appreciation of music
● Be able to provide quality Christian Music education to students in K-6
● Hold a Bachelor of Education/Music Education degree or equivalent. Ideally, the applicant will also hold the Australian Kodály Certificate
● Have a high level of musicianship, especially to conduct music ensembles including concert bands and/or choirs, and to be involved in the Primary musical productions
● Contribute to the cultural life of the College community through music
● Demonstrated excellence in communication with students, parents and staff
● Expect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff team

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.

This is an exciting and challenging position for someone who is passionate and capable to lead an innovative and energetic classroom. ● Hold a Bachelor of Education/Music Education degree or equivalent. Ideally, the applicant will also hold the Australian Kodály Certificate
● Contribute to the cultural life of the College community through music
● Demonstrated excellence in communication with students, parents and staff
● Expect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff team
