Primary Casual Teachers

Belmont Christian College invites applications from suitably qualified Primary Christian educators to commence now to serve in a casual capacity at the College. These positions provide an opportunity for experienced, innovative Christian educators who are passionate about Kingdom Education and desire to work within a productive team environment.

The successful applicants should:

  • ● Be able to provide quality Christian education to students in Primary School
  • ● Have a passion to improve the learning culture for every single learner
  • ● Have high expectations and an understanding that improvement is a shared responsibility
  • ● Ideally, have the flexibility to:

o Work with different age groups,
o Teach different subjects, and
o Work varying days.

  • ● Expect to be part of a God honouring collaborative staff team

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church.

5 Days/Week - Term Time (40 weeks + 4 weeks AL)

School Psychologist

This newly created position is a key member of the Wellbeing Team and provides individual and whole of College (P-12) wellbeing support, initiatives and programs. They provide a child and adolescent psychological service in the College and work with other staff to support students and families.

The successful applicant should have:

  • ● Registration or provisional registration as a Psychologist
  • ● Knowledge of and a deep commitment to child safety in an education setting.
  • ● Current Working with Children Check
  • ● Experience in assessments, counselling, referrals and case management ideally in an education setting.
  • ● Demonstrated substantial experience in the following:

○ Adhering to principles and values
○ Presenting and communicating
○ Working with people
○ Problem solving

  • ● First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.

This is an exciting new position in a supportive team environment for someone who is relatable, caring, well-organised and professional.

Ideally, the position will work 5 days/week during term time, however we are open to negotiating hours/days and FTE for the right candidate.

Secondary English/HSIE Teacher

This position is an opportunity for an experienced, innovative Christian educator who is passionate about Kingdom Education and desires to work within a productive team environment. The applicant should be ready to commence as soon as possible.

All staff are required to be Christians, active in their local church and have a willingness to follow the College’s Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.

This is an exciting position that offers variety for someone who is passionate about Christian education, adopts a relational approach to their teaching demonstrating experience and a  willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers, students and parents. The successful applicant will be well-organised and be prepared to make a contribution to the  extra-curricular life of the College.
