Dear Parents and Caregivers,
In keeping with the Premier’s announcement about a modified return to school, the majority of our students should still be learning from home during Week 2, however the College will be open and operational for children of essential workers. Week 2 at the College will continue in similar fashion to Week 1.
Where practical, parents are asked to keep their children at home. Teachers have planned the same learning for students at the College and at home, and we are doing what is necessary at the College to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our students, teachers, other employees and people entering the College.
We have taken advice from the AISNSW (Australian Independent Schools) and CSA (Christian Schools Australia) for our transition to the next phase of curriculum delivery for Week 3 and on into the rest of Term 2. Their advice and recommendations will be communicated to families as soon as the College’s planned transition is finalised.
In order for us to be able to continue to organise adequate and appropriate supervision of your children on-site, I ask that you fill in this Week 2 eForm for Week 2 just as you did for Week 1 to help us to best care for your children should you need to send them to school.
Kind regards,
Mr Steve Tidey
Assistant Principal
Belmont Christian College
