The year is flying by so very quickly, with many exciting events in the pipeline. Along with a number of fun and varied co-curricular activities, of particular significance, at the forefront of our minds, is the Primary School’s musical, Seussical Jnr. Much ‘behind the scenes’ work is being undertaken by the children, parents and teachers in the lead up to the performance. Boys and girls are rehearsing enthusiastically, every week, in preparation for the event to be held in Term 3 later this year. The musical is sure to be a wonderful celebration and showcase of some of the gifts with which God has blessed each one involved!
From the classroom, boys and girls are once again working hard this year, with their teachers guiding them as they undertake new learning. Careful, ongoing assessment measures ensure that individual children are challenged to benefit both academically with extension work and/or remedially. Each child’s strengths and areas for improvement are identified and recorded as they progress. Student Progress Reports will be distributed in Week 9 of this term. Parent Teacher Meetings to be held in Week 10, and we encourage parents to make an appointment to chat about their child’s progress to date, this semester. We look forward to continuing to partner with parents as we nurture each child as they ‘grow up into Christ’.
