Alumni Sporting Success
We are proud of our students past and present and we’d like to highlight the success of some of our Alumni students in the sporting arena.
Focusing on women in football, or soccer for those who often get the name mixed up with other dominant codes in Australia, two of our Alumni have gone on to forge successful careers in football playing for our local A-League/W-League teams or playing for Australia!
Lauren Colthorpe attended the College from Kinder to Year 10, 1991 to 2001 and went on to represent Australia in football. Lauren played for the Brisbane Roar in the inception season of the W-League from 2008 through to 2011. Lauren played 5 Under 20 caps for Australian and earned 51 caps for Matildas.
Emily Van Egmond attended the College from Years 4 to 6, 2003 to 2005 she too went on to represent Australia in football.
