Year 4 to Camp Toukley

In the last week of term Year 4 students participated in an overnight stay at Camp Toukley. We were blessed with amazing weather and a group of great kids ready for adventure. On Wednesday our first stop was Soldier’s Beach at Norah Head. Students participated in a sand modelling competition and achieved some impressive results. Our next stop was Camp Toukley. Students were placed into day groups and rotated amongst four camp activities; Archery, Crate Climb, Quad Biking and Bush Initiatives. These groups were run by Camp Toukley staff who quickly developed a great rapport with Year 4. On Wednesday night Year 4 teachers ran a games night, Teddy Bear Competition and devotions. Lots of fun was had. On Thursday Year 4 completed their rotation of activities and then packed up to come home. Students are to be commended on their behaviour and their willingness to support each other when attempting new challenges. Thanks to Mr Watts for organizing Camp Toukley and thanks to Mr Keast and Mrs Morris who attended as parent helpers.

Years 5 and 6 to Jenolan Caves and Bathurst

After the fantastic experience of being part of our Primary musical in week 7 last term, Stage 3 backed it up with another wonderful experience on camp. They arrived at Jenolan Caves to find snow and they visited the Caves wearing their winter woollies. They discovered how things were in the Gold Rush era and walked on the Bathurst 1000 race track. Enjoy the short video below of part of their trip.
